These are character spoilers that would mostly likely be unknown to your character!Kiba-kai, a powerful organization in Kugane, is often seen lurking around the Rakuza District. Their leader, the Wolf of Kugane, Kiba Ōkami, long held the position of Oyabun. Beneath him were several 'fangs' who made up this notorious clan, though most of them have now been eliminated, unbeknownst to the city.It was one fateful evening when Kiba pushed his former saiko-komon, Eno Fukushima, too far. By her hand alone, 'The Wolf' met his end. Now, taking her rightful place as oyabun, Eno strives to rebuild Kiba-kai and restore balance to the underworld of Kugane.As far as the city is concerned, however, Kiba is still very much alive. Never one for public appearances or even private audiences, often sending henchmen in his place, Eno continues business as usual. She plans to rebuild under the same alias, allowing the ignorant to remain just that.In Kiba’s passing, Eno inherited more than just his legacy. The voidsent entity that had puppeteered Kiba-Kai, feeding on dark desires and aether, it claimed Eno as its new host. Much like her predecessor, Eno was driven by her own dark impulses, her better nature silenced by the anger, hatred, and pain that torments her soul.Her true ambitions remain hidden, known only to those she allows to get close enough to uncover her secret intentions.

Synastry turned to trickery. Eno can fuse her aether with another’s, seizing control of their mind and nervous system. If left undisturbed, she can corrupt thoughts, distort or erase memories, and warp personalities entirely. Even from a distance, she can weave her consciousness into that of her target - reading and influencing surface-level thoughts or instilling vivid hallucinations.

Eno’s aether burns hot and bright, aspected to fire and light. Her arcane abilities reflect this nature. She runs warmer than most and does not feel the cold.

ABILITIES: Spells and Magic

SYNASTRY: A spell of the Astrologians’ Guild that allows the caster to tether their aether to another person, forging a direct arcane connection between them.FOX FIRE: Flames that warm and heal, yet do not burn. Inari’s blessing mends wounds, just enough to keep its victims alive.SHADOW MANIPULATION: That which obstructs the sun’s light casts a shadow. Eno commands the messengers that dwell within those shadows — the only darkness she can truly wield, granting her unseen eyes, attentive ears, and grasping hooks.VEINWEAVING: By using her own blood as a catalyst, Eno fuels her magic through sacrifice. She can mend grievous wounds or raise protective barriers, each working costing her flesh; each spell drawn from injury willingly inflicted.
